Our commitments

What we stand for, and what we will never do.

You come here to think about your day, a question, or your birth chart. Nobody should use that moment to frighten you or sell you your future.

Our mission: compute the sky with care and show you where every interpretation comes from, so astrology and tarot stay tools for reflection, in your hands.

What we stand for

Showing our work

When we compare today's sky with your chart, every line shows the angle and how far it is from exact. Nothing is made up. Planet positions come from an astronomical engine we checked against NASA's ephemerides. The texts are written by an open-weight language model, GPT-OSS-120b, from a body of sources we have read through. We would rather write a short text than sentences that would fit anyone.

A reading, not a verdict

A card or a transit opens a question. It does not decide for you. Astrology is not a validated science, and we do not present it as one. We give no medical, financial or legal advice: for those, see a professional.

Your birth data stays yours

Your date, time and place of birth are almost enough to identify you. We keep only what your chart needs, we share it with no one, and you can erase everything from your account. The Member plan exists for one plain reason: to pay for the engine, the work on the sources and the servers, so we never have to sell your data.

A free service that stands on its own

The Essential plan is not a trial. The daily horoscope, unlimited algorithmic readings (no account needed) and one written reading a week stay free. What you pay for is volume and depth, never access to "your destiny".

What we will never do

  • Use an ad network, target you from your data, or follow you from site to site. If an ad ever appears, it will show a product from the Ozenik family or from a small advertiser we chose, and it will know nothing about you. Members will be able to see all of them, keep only our own products, or turn them off.
  • Know who reads what: we count the pages read, never who reads them.
  • Sell or lend your birth data.
  • Use what you write to train a model.
  • Invent urgency: countdowns, "three people are viewing this reading", an offer that ends tonight.
  • Sell curse removal, protection rituals or by-the-minute psychic consultations.
  • Hide a worrying message behind a payment.
  • Make cancelling hard: it takes one click, with no follow-up pitch.

If you see Merastra falling short of any of these, write to us at contact@merastra.com. We will fix it, and we will say so.
