2. What is sold
A subscription to Merastra, an online astrology and tarot service: birth chart and transit calculations, tarot draws, and written interpretations.
The exact details of the chosen plan (features included, number of saved charts, number of written readings per period) are shown on screen at the time of purchase and repeated in the confirmation email. They are part of the contract.
No physical goods are delivered. Access is immediate after payment.
Like the whole site, this content is offered for entertainment and personal reflection, and the interpretations are written by a language model (see the Terms of use, section 2).
Where we sell
We do not sell subscriptions to people who reside:
- in a country or region under Canadian economic sanctions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus, Crimea, and the Donetsk and Luhansk regions;
- in a country where astrology or divination is an offence: Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan.
At checkout, you declare that you do not reside in one of these countries. A subscription bought in breach of that declaration may be cancelled. This list follows changes to Canadian sanctions and may be updated.
3. Prices, taxes and currency
The price, the currency and the total amount to pay are shown before you confirm payment, and repeated in the confirmation.
- In Canada, prices are shown before taxes; applicable GST and QST are added and itemized on screen.
- In the European Union, prices are shown including all taxes.
- Nothing else is added. Your bank may charge its own conversion fees if your card is in another currency: those fees are the bank's, not ours.
4. Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly, as you choose), at the same price, until cancelled. Any price increase is announced by email 30 days before the renewal it applies to; you can cancel before then at no cost.
If a payment fails, we let you know and access to the paid plan is kept for [DÉLAI DE GRÂCE]
before it is suspended, so you have time to fix your payment method. No penalty is charged.
5. Cancellation
One click, from your account, no reason needed and no need to write to us.
The subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid, then stops. No further charge is made. You keep your data; only the paid features stop.
6. Right of cancellation and refunds
If you reside in the European Union
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date you subscribe.
Since access to the service is immediate, you agree at the time of purchase that performance begins before that period ends. If you withdraw during those 14 days, we refund the amount paid, minus the share corresponding to the service already provided.
Natal report and personal almanac. These texts are digital content written for you. If you request one during the 14 days, we first ask you, with a checkbox, to confirm that you want to receive it immediately and that you thereby waive your right of withdrawal. Once that text is generated, the subscription can only be refunded for the share of the period still to run. Without that confirmation, the text becomes available when the 14 days are over. This confirmation is sent to you by email.
To exercise it: one email to support@merastra.com is enough. Refund within 14 days, by the same payment method.
If you reside in Québec, elsewhere in Canada or outside the European Union
Full refund on request within 7 days of purchase, no reason needed, provided you have generated neither a natal report nor a personal almanac during that time. These two texts are written for you and cannot be taken back; generating them ends this commercial refund right, not your legal rights.
Your legal rights apply in every case. In particular, you may cancel the contract within 7 days of receiving your copy if we failed in our pre-contractual disclosure obligations, and within 30 days if the service is not provided. Where applicable, you also have the chargeback remedy provided by the Consumer Protection Act, through your credit card issuer.
Cancellation can be made by any means, an email to support@merastra.com being the simplest. The refund is made within 15 days.
7. Your copy of the contract
A copy of this document and the details of your purchase are sent to you by email immediately after payment, and remain available in your account. If you do not receive it, write to us and we will send it again.
Before paying, you can review your order, correct it, then expressly accept or refuse it. A checkbox, never ticked in advance, has you accept this document and declare that you do not reside in a country where we do not sell.
8. Complaints
Write to support@merastra.com. We acknowledge receipt within 3 business days and reply within 15 days.
Consumers in Québec may contact the Office de la protection du consommateur. Consumers in the European Union may contact the out-of-court dispute resolution body of their country.
